North Ridgeville Corn Festival: Some of the best roasted corn will be served up by North Ridgeville Kiwanis Club at the Corn Festival on Aug. 7-9, 2026 at South Central Park.
TEAL Art Fest: Join the Kiwanis Club of North Ridgeville onJuly 18, 2026 from 1 pm-6 pm at the 2026 TEAL Art Fest at South Central Park for an afternoon celebrating the artistic talents of K-12 students, community, and family fun!
Pancake Breakfast at Discover Aviation Airplane & Car Show: On Saturday, July 11, 2026, the Kiwanis Club of North Ridgeville will be serving a pancake breakfast. Start your morning with a good breakfast and then enjoy a day filled with airplanes, classic cars, and family fun at the Lorain County Regional Airport!
Cutest Pooch Contest: Scheduled for July 5, 2026 to Aug. 1, 2026. Contest ends at 7pm on Aug. 1, 2026. Prizes to the winners will be presented at the North Ridgeville Corn Festival’s opening ceremony at South Central’s Park gazebo on Aug. 7, 2026.
Culvers’ Fundraiser: Took place on June 24, 2026. Another Culver’s fundraising day is being planned.
Amtryke Donation: As of June/2026, the North Ridgeville Kiwanis Club provided their 20th Amtryke therapeutic tricycle to our local children. This included 3 Amtrykes provided in 2026: one to a 5-year-old child, one to two siblings, and one to a local school where multiple students will benefit.
Kiwanis Kids and Community Helpers: Partnering with the North Ridgeville Library, North Ridgeville Kiwanis brings in community service guests to talk about what they do and to read to the children. Kiwanis provides the children with a reading pillow and book.
8/14/26: North Ridgeville policeman will read to the children
-5/1/26: Maximum Fitness Gym owner spoke of fitness and read to the children
-2/27/26: Owner of “Between the Buns” read to the children.
Plastic Collection: In an effort to protect our environment and to raise funds to support the children, the club continues to collect plastic bags. They collected enough plastic to provide a bench at one of North Ridgeville parks. Another batch of plastic resulted in funds to buy items to for Operation Christmas Child.
Memorial Day Parade: North Ridgeville Kiwanis proudly participate marched in the parade with their Liberty Bell float paying tribute to the courageous men and women served our nation.
Adaptable Athletics: The North Ridgeville Kiwanis Club was honored at the May 13, 2026 Adaptable Athletics event for the many Amtrykes the club has donated to the school.
Ronald McDonald House: On May 8, 2026, North Ridgeville Kiwanis members volunteer at Ronald McDonald House working in the kitchen and preparing dinner.
Scholarships for 2026 Key Club Seniors: 6 North Ridgeville High School Seniors who were in the Key Club received $500 scholarships.
Supporting Good Knights: To support the efforts of “Good Knights”, a business that provides comfortable and safe beds for children in need within Lorain, OH, the North Ridgeville Kiwanis Club donated sheets and are making blankets that will also be donated.
Soup Cook-Off Fundraiser: Held on March 7, 2026; 5pm-7pm at  Fields United Methodist Church

Some 2025 Activities

Toys for Tots: In December/2025, North Ridgeville Kiwanis members shopped for clients of Toys for Tots.
Key Club Pancake Breakfast: The Kiwanis Club helped our High School Key Club with their Pancake Breakfast held on Dec. 6, 2025.
Leaf Raking:  The Kiwanis Club with the High School Key Club and Middle School Builders’ Club raked leaves for seniors on November 15, 2025.
Operation Christmas Child: On Nov. 10, 2025, Kiwanis members filled gift boxes that were sent to child in need around the world.
Kids and Community Helper Story Time:  A reading session was held at the Library on Nov. 7, 2025.
Culvers’ Fundraiser:  Kiwanis Club helped to serve Culvers’ customers as Culvers’ donated a portion of their proceeds to the Kiwanis Club on Nov. 5, 2025.
Mayor Kevin Corcoran at Kiwanis Meeting:  Mayor Kevin Corcoran spoke on Issue 8 at the Oct. 27, 2025 Kiwanis meeting.
LCCC Fall Fest:  Kiwanis participated in the LCCC Fall Fest at University Partnership Ridge on Oct. 15, 2025. (Free fun activities including food, games and music were enjoyed.)
Scholarships: The Kiwanis Club of North Ridgeville awarded six $500 scholarships.
Memorial Day Parade: The club walked proudly in the parade with the grand float they created depicting the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Essentials Competition for Community Care: Once again the Kiwanis club competed to provide many needed essentials to Community Care.
Change the Cycle: 4,555 items were donated to Change the Cycle.

Some 2024 Activities

-July/2024: Contributed clothing to Blessing House.
-July 20, 2024: Participated in the TEAL Arts Festival at South Central Park providing free children books along with an art activity.
-Aug. 9, 10, 11, 2024: Participation at the North Ridgeville Corn Festival and Parade
